WBWA intends to help deserving students and families by providing assistance in educational and acute/critical medical / healthcare requirements
Education
The activities of WBWA are directed towards helping deserving students who do not have enough support to take care of their education in whatever possible ways. We sincerely hope this will inspire the youth to work and contribute towards to betterment, progress, and prosperity of our community and society as a whole. This is carried out in various ways including
  • Granting one-time scholarship to deserving, capable students
  • Identifying partner institutions where deserving students get support
  • Identifying a right student / institution match so that student gets right place to study at cheaper cost
  • Identifying philanthropists to help deserving students continuously till the completion of course / programme
  • Inculcating highest standards of goodwill and morality, respect, and brotherly understanding among the younger generation
  • Organizing social, and cultural programmes
  • Arrange lectures, seminars, and symposiums to motivate the younger generation to participate in educational activities
Empowering aspiring students

WBWA has been working on the concept of organizing training programmes to help aspiring students to face various examinations and get into Medical, Engineering, Bank and like courses free of cost. Recently an awareness programme was conducted on cracking bank
entrance examinations.
Skill Development

WBWA is also working towards helping the younger generation from the community to get skilled in different areas of their interest. For this, WBWA organizes training programmes now and intends to organize skilling programmes, target oriented short-term courses in partnership with various individuals / institutions / organizations so that the students get the right advice from right organizations / institutions / individuals at right time. This will help the younger generation to stand on their own legs and support themselves and their families.
Agriculture
WBWA will give importance to agriculture, the lifeline of India. Aspiring individuals / younger generation will be given training on agriculture / organic agriculture / agro products marketing so that the younger generation engaged in the most important profession, agriculture. For this WBWA takes the help of all members engaged in agriculture and few likeminded individuals running nonprofit organizations.

Acute / critical medical / healthcare
At times it becomes difficult for most of us to meet the expenses towards medical / healthcare expenses. While some are accomplished with good wealth and some are endowed with insurance policies many families suffer from neither having enough money at the time of requirement nor enjoy insurance at big levels. In such cases, WBWA prefers to help the deserving families by providing partial financial assistance so that initial or critical expenses are met with. This will be carried out as follows
  • Granting one-time help to deserving families
  • Identifying partner hospitals where patients can be referred
  • Identifying philanthropists to help the deserving individuals
  • Organizing periodical healthcare / first aid / medical assistance programmes to learn more about healthy living
  • Organize a healthcare corpus fund to help the deserving individuals
WBWA Business Network
Under this networking platform, Brahmin Professionals, Business Owners and Entrepreneurs will be invited to be part of the movement to help Brahmin youth to get employed / start their own business and get right advice from experts.

WBWA organize business network meetings every month. There are 550 members in the business network and around 200 actively participate in the WhatsApp transactions. Around 50 members attend the meeting continuously. This has become a platform for existing business people for continuous development through mutual interaction and cooperation from other business communities.
Other activities
1) Regular support and help to Veda Padasalas Orphanages and Old age homes with financial assistance and providing food, dress etc.

2) Support and help from WBWA during national calamities – 1000 bed sheets, sarees, Tarpaulins, and food to suffering people in Chennai, Kanyakumari and Nagai, Thiruvarur and other districts during cyclone and flood in 2015, 2016 and 2018.

Future Plans
1) Planning to extend the socio-economic activities in all districts of Tamilnadu
2) Planning to start coaching classes for all public exams like Banks, UPSC, IAS and Law.
3) Continue and develop our B4Biz Business Network Programme and Entrepreneur Development Programmes to help younger generation to start their own business in all districts of Tamilnadu.
4) To invite all Brahmins interested to interact within our community be part of the platform through a dedicated web portal and interaction platform
5) To represent our grievances to Tamilnadu Government and Central Government then and there suitably and through appropriate forums / Channels
6) To cooperate and coordinate with other similar organizations to preserve our great culture, customs and our Hindu temples
